I took 2 projects with me to get some help. One was a dress for my niece, her measurements was a confusing mix of sizes 4 (waist), 7 (chest) and 10 (height). Amy helped me to select a size and gave me ideas to manage the height. I’m confident to start it now.
The other was making a dress for myself and Amy gave me tips on how to do certain steps. Amy is a great teacher, she gives us handy tips to achieve the best results.
It was a fun class on a Friday night. These FreeStyle sewing sessions are so great to have a teacher around to help out on our own projects. I highly recommend it.
And you can get dinner at the many restaurants nearby after class. Make it a night out with your sewing buddies.

It was a made up class for the Nova Coat. A few of us had troubles determining the size to cut and we were behind in our class. Danielle and Jenni kindly offered us this class to catch up. With Jenni helping us in class, we were able to cut the fabric pieces out.
And I wanted to shorten both the coat and sleeves length because I’m short. Jenni taught me how to do that.
We are looked after at Thread Den :-), the teachers do go the extra miles to make sure we can follow the class okay.

Absolutely LOVE the Thread den classes. They cater to all levels from beginner to experienced and I always learn some helpful tips or tricks whenever I go. The teachers there are so friendly (especially Jenny who is AWESOME). It's just a wonderful environment to sew with other like minded people. The freestyle class is great as you can take any project in for help.
