I attended the Freestyle Sewing Class with my aunty. We both had brought fabric with some ideas about what we wanted to sew. I had not realized I should have brought a pattern with me. The instructor was very helpful and found a pattern we could use to make a skirt for my young daughter. As I am a beginner, it was great to have assistance with each step - I leant a lot and made good progress with the skirt and should be able to complete it at home. There were only 6 in class all doing our own projects, and we got a lot of individual attention. The work room is well set up with cutting tables, sewing machines, and all the bits and pieces you need for sewing.
This session was fantastic! I got such a good boost of confidence from it and I have my sew-jo back. Thanks to Ali, helping me with my project. She was so vibrant, hilarious, patient & the ultimate whizz at sewing! Learnt so many valuable tips. Can't wait for the next one! Thanks so much Ali 🙏
