Great course! Amy was a patient, understanding and kind teacher who took the time to give one on one personalised tutorials to each person in the group as sometimes we were moving at our own pace. She also helped us all customise our pants to our measurements and was so generous with her knowledge. If you are a newbie to sewing DON'T PICK silky rayon as your pant material as it is HARD to sew while also learning the steps, but Amy never made me feel bad about my choice and just showed me how to work with what I had - I feel as though I learnt more because of this! I was sick so missed the last session (boo!) but I feel confident from what I have learnt and the instructions provided to finish the pants on my own at home. Will be rebooking another course as I am really enjoying the pace and the space is cosy with everything you need.

What a cool place to come
to learn how to sew.
Maximum six people in class, don’t have to bring a sewing machine etc. just bring your fabric, and thread. Ample parking at Coles which is just around the corner from Thread Den. I love wearing my cool PJ short!

I really enjoyed this workshop. The facilitator was very knowledgeable and helpful and gave some very useful tips along the way.
I love how these workshops challenge me with my sewing skills and teach me new techniques every time. Plus they're so much fun.
