Although I'd used my hot rollers before I learned better technique and how to set them specifically for my hair, of which there is a lot, and then how to style it once the rollers are out. I learned how to do 50's era make up and some techniques to practice cat's eye eye-liner. It was a great, friendly class and we all left looking and feeling fabulous!
I learned how to apply makeup for a genuine 50's look, and learned several methods of setting my hair to match the makeup. I had loads of fun at this class, it's great to do it with others. It was fantastic value because I learned many techniques that I was able to take away to try at home. And I would definitely recommend any of the vintage hair and beauty classes, whether for the 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, or 60's.
