I’m so happy I booked a private lesson! There are a lot of skills in sewing that you can teach yourself through trial, error and practice, but there will always be some that you can’t figure out on your own. For me it was fit - Ally walked me through the process of drafting a front, back and sleeve sloper based on my custom measurements to use as a reference point when cutting out commercial patterns. She was so friendly and lovely to learn from. Thanks so much, I’m so excited to sew clothes that finally fit me perfectly.
