Wowwwweeee I had an excellent 2 weeks at the Thread Den and I would absolutely recommend this course for anyone looking to upskill themselves within the world of fashion and pattern making. I previously had some pattern making skills prior to attending, however felt as though I was lacking the confidence to take my work to the next level, however I can say without a doubt that attending this workshop boosted my confidence and allowed me to challenge and push past what I thought were my limits!
The teacher was super super helpful at guiding me through my pattern making process, particularly as I chose quite a difficult garment to copy, however I was provided with excellent support the whole way through right through to the making of my toile. The atmosphere and environment was also extremely supportive, with people of all different levels attending the workshop!
All I can say is..... if you're willing to learn I can 100% say that you will get so much out of this course, no doubt about it!

I had a lot of fun making a tier dress with raglan sleeves. Our instructor Jenni was so knowledgeable and helpful. The other ladies were friendly and we got along very well, chatting, making patterns, cutting fabrics and sewing.
As we brought in different garments, we learnt from Jenni as she explained from one garment to another. We did learn how to tackle copying more than our own garments.
Jenni is so patient. During the different sessions, she explained how to add a dart multiple times to me. I love going to her classes.
I made a dress and almost finished a top during classes, I was happy :-)
One of our sessions was canceled due to covid lockdown. I received emails about the rescheduled date, it was very organised.

We did have a great class dynamic didn't we! Always lovely to see you in the class room and watching you grow and learn. You've achieved so much in such a short time, I hope you're really proud of your accomplishments!
