I have zero knowledge about sewing and found this beginner's course well-structured and well-paced and delivered by a professional, supportive and patient teacher. Each class is broken down into steps that are easy to follow with plenty of time. The course is not rushed which I love and it's great that there were only five of us in the class so the trainer to student ratio is really good if you need some extra support during a step. I don't use wallets these days but will use my wallet (outcome of the first class) for carrying foreign currency when I travel. I am immensely proud of my shopping tote and will wear it with pride. My work (digital platforms) and creative outlet (photography) is all digitally based and so it feels amazing to have something physical as a creative outcome. I did not expect to feel such a sense of pride in my output. I bought the optional fabric pack so that I didn't have to run around and find these things myself. The great think about my pack is that one of the colours was grey which I love because I much prefer a block colour for my accessories rather than prints. I highly recommend the Thread Den and will be back for more.
