Great for Beginners
I went with a friend and we both found the course very practical.
Week 1 was easy going and fun. We learnt the basic of sewing and the wallet we made was cute. Week 2 was most difficult because we learnt to put in a zip and there was a lot of steps. It was pretty tricky but our instructor did get us all through. Week 3, I thought it was impossible but it was easier than I expected. Our instructor gave me extra tips which I didn’t learn before. It was also fun like Week 1. In summary, I highly recommend this course. It’s a great environment to be sewing with a group of women. Everyone was friendly.

I recently started dancing and spent way too much cash money on my costume. I knew I could have saved heaps by doing at least the simple alterations myself. So, I needed a sewing machine. But I didn't want to drop fat stacks on a sewing machine without making sure I knew which one was right for me and - of course - how to set it up and use it rather than getting overwhelmed by all the buttons and then leaving it to gather dust in the hallway closet! This course was absolutely perfect for that. I am now the proud owner of a new Janome that I am confident I can use. The teachers are excellent and super patient, the environment is really relaxed. I couldn't recommend it more. Thanks Thread Den!
