Great course, probably a little out of my comfort zone stepping up from sewing for beginners straight to knits, but felt welcome, got all the help I needed and learned what I set out to and have a t-shirt to boot.
My 6th Thread Den class since late 2024 ...this time I made a long sleeved top in stretch fabric.
I learnt so much about the different amounts of stretch in fabric and how it affects the fit; cutting, pressing and pinning the fabric; sewing the pieces together using different stitches suitable for stretch fabric.
Danielle is such a great teacher...so calm and knowledgeable and really helped me end up with an item of clothing I will love to wear.
