Lorena was absolutely delightful and soooooo knowledgeable !! Shame the administration staff gave us incorrect information re the yarn we needed so unfortunately a couple of us were not able to actually knit our garment. Lorena was very accommodating and gave us yarn to practice with.

Enjoyed the course - just need more time to master the stitches. If you don't practice enough in class, then at home you cannot complete the project.

It was a lovely small group and the teacher was excellent, she was very clear and patient and focussed on equipping us with the basics in a short period of time.

I highly recommend this class! Our instructor Amy was fantastic and everyone at Thread Den was warm and welcoming. I'd done crochet before (self taught), but had guessed my way through projects in the past. This class helped me understand the foundations so I can feel more confident starting a new project, especially when it comes to reading patterns and choosing yarn/hooks. I'm keen to keep building on my skills, so will definitely be back. Thanks Amy and team!

Absolutely awesome class. I was excited to learn the techniques and basic operation of a flat bed knitting machine. Easy to follow the thorough instructions and now eager to wake my mum’s old knitting machine.

Lorena is a very patient and generous teacher who has an obvious passion for her craft. Machine knitting is way more fun and interesting than you’d expect and the stocking is gorgeous - win win!
