Fun class with amazing teachers. I came in to.a class where i have never touched a sewing machine. I walked away with Sewing Machine knowledge and 3 very creative items that i made from scratch. I can't wait to do my next workshop. Highly Recommend!!!

I have never sewed in my life, apart from badly mending things by hand. Never used a sewing machine. I sewed 3 projects over 3 classes! I'm so happy. I think the beginner projects are well-selected: easy to follow, give you a good introduction to the sewing machine, are forgiving enough that little mistakes/ wonky stitches are hidden or don't matter, so cute and practical that they make you want to keep sewing more! Thanks Thread Den! I'm looking forward to booking another workshop <3

This was a lot of fun! The projects they picked had clear steps and were achievable. I felt like I learned solid basic skills, and was chuffed with my finished projects. Our instructor was patient and explained everything well, and always guided us if we were unsure at any step.

I did the three week beginners sewing class where you complete a project each session and I've walked away with a good understanding of the machine and basic processes.
I would love to see a small tweak to the class approach, moving more deliberately to using the projects as a mechanism to teach us techniques, rather than a follow-along "make a bag" approach.
Loved it though, highly recommend.

I loved this course! Perfect for absolute beginners or for someone starting (almost) from scratch - the teachers were amazing and patient and the small class numbers made everything run so smoothly, I'll definitely be back.

I've been wanting to pick up sewing for a while, and when I saw Thread Den was offering a three week beginners course I jumped at the opportunity! We had a great instructor, and the lessons were well planned and structured—would highly recommend to anyone looking to pick up sewing!

Arlie was really friendly and great at teaching! I learnt a lot in this course and feel much more confident in my sewing skills now. The resources given were very helpful as well and I'm sure I'll use them lots in the future as I try out new projects.

Arlie was fantastic. It was a very paced class. Good to get the fundamentals but also make some great pieces out of it as well. Will be looking to do another class soon.
