Description

In the Capri Pants workshop you will make a classic pair of cigarette style pants over six hours.

With only 4 pattern pieces, this is a great choice to make if you have made one other simple item like an A line skirt.  You will learn how to sew in a lapped zip, and finish the waist with a self faced yoke at the waist - perfect to tackle with a teacher's support. You will learn to use a regular zipper foot and finish seams with an overlocker.

23 February 2019 • Sew A Pair of Capri Pants

Despite sewing for many years, pants have always been my nemesis; I have never been able to get the correct size. The pattern for these pants was excellent as it was easy to fit and make adjustments too. I left the class with a pair of pants that fitted and a pattern that I can use many times over.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We have sent through an email regarding finishing off the last bit of your pants and also tracing off the pattern.

The workshop was really good. Jen was very knowledgable and shared some great dressmaking tips! I have been sewing for a long time and still found the workshop a valuable learning. Thanks!
