13 September 2017 • Sewing Basics Course for Beginners

My 16 year old daughter and I recently attended the Sewing Basics Course for Beginners and LOVED everything about it! The venue is bright and inspiring, the course content was perfect and the teachers were absolutely delightful - very helpful and extremely patient (not to mention great fun!) I had not touched a sewing machine since secondary school (many, many years ago...). I purchased a machine and overlocker for my daughter's birthday and thought what a lovely thing to do together. We met some delightful people who were also doing the class. (It was nice & intimiate). I can highly recommend this course and Thread Den in general. I love receiving the emails about what courses are coming up next and we think it's fantastic that for a nominal fee, you can go along and take any project you may need help with. It makes it all the more inspiring to give it a go. Thanks again Thread Den, we will definitely be back to create some more with you. Not only do have pride in what you create, it is a great way of nurturing your soul... Highly recommend the Thread Den!
