Description

Visitors pop in to work on course homework, finish workshop projects and tackle their UFOs. It's an ideal time to make a toile and get everyone's opinion. Trace off patterns on the big drafting/cutting tables. It's not exclusively sewing, bring in your knitting and crochet, hand sewing, embroidery...  hell, you can pop in just for a chat!

Friday Night Sewcials are free for Thread Den Members.

A night of sewing, creativity and skill-sharing for makers who like to be with like minded creatives.

We put on some wine and everyone brings a small plate of food to share.  Why not pop on your pinnie and whip up a plate of your own tasty treats to share?

Bookings for Sewcial Sewing sessions open up 8 weeks in advance.

These sessions are a social opportunity to be with like minded creatives, get some friendly assurance and general advice. For instruction on using sewing machines and overlockers look at our  Private Lessons.

Not sure if your membership is still current?  Send us an email at info@threadden.com and we'll check for you.

24 November 2019 • Friday Night Sewcial

What would I do without Sewcial Sewing? My latest sewing project got off to a flying start with 3 hours of concentrated crafting. It meant that I was able to get most of the way through the blouse and it's nearly finished. The added bonus of lovely people and food and wine made it a thoroughly special evening

A bumper night at Thread Den last Friday, it's not hard to see why everyone loves Sewcial Sewing, with great food and wine, plus the opportunity to socialise with other like-minded crafters.

29 September 2019 • Friday Night Sewcial

I managed to get a lot of sewing done at Sewcial Sewing. After non-stop crochet for nearly three months, my sewing mojo is back.
